Our historic villa is located between Umbria and Tuscany and offers to its guests the opportunity to discover this wonderful area, with excursions to Città della Pieve, the Chiana Valley and Orcia Valley.


Città della Pieve, medieval town yet know from Etruscan times. The town is encircled by its fourteenth walls with the famous eagle shape.
The city centre is dominated by the Dome, not only a spiritual place but also nestle of masterpieces form Pietro Vannucci, called Il Perugino, and Antonio Circignani, known as Il Pomarancio.
Walking through its narrow alleys, you will find the Rocca, the Church of San Michele, the Torre del Pubblico where you will admire the wonderful panorama of the city and the hills surrounding it. 
An ancient townlet, its human scale, where tradition lives back its roots at every event.

This region is divided from Val d’Orcia from a strip of hills going towards Cortona.
Its name is associated to Chianina meet, a spectacular beef typical of this area, whose flesh is particularly soft.
The Tuscan Tradition of “Eating and Drinking Good” is endless to explore. Pecorino cheese, prosciutto and fegatelli, pici, panzanella, beans dressed with a fragrant extra virgin olive oil and accompanied with Chianti wine.
